what is the world telling me.

The last month or so there have been small random (acts of kindness) you could say that have helped me out either with money or my mood. Its been so frequent that I need to jot them down and since it feels more official writing it on my blog maybe it will prompt some sort of action on my behalf.
- san francisco- Im in oakland california. I stop into this bead/rock shop to have a look. I find a quarts pyramid and decide while i cant afford, ill just walk around the store and hold it for awhile, keep looking then be on my way. as im leaving the woman at the front counter stops me and says, " hey you really like that?"and tells me to not worry about it, take it and have a safe trip.

next happening:

-Im at a bar without enough cash, bartender gives me a dollar and says, " hey just pay it back somehow".
-samething downtown when i try to bum a ciggarette. she gives me 2, and reminds me to " give someone else something".

third happening:

-(worst fucking day of my life)- riding home from downtown over the burnside bridge about to start walking my bike because at this point the last thing i want to be doing is endurance anything. some old man rides past me and shouts, " dont give up, your doing great, have a nice night". later that evening, i get a random email from a guy on craigslist that was interested in buying my guitar and he says, " we need more people in the world like you". WTF!? this guy is crazy he doesnt even know me, i could be some junkie for all he knows. never the less, ive never had anyone ive sold something to on craigslist say anything like that before.

-some lady just gave me ten dollars extra for my sewing machine and told me to go back to sleep and have a nice afternoon too.

-boy at mexican food restaurant gave me a coke for 25 cents off.

(and these might just be common things, but really i think that there is something to say for the time frame that they are in and i feel like i cant disregard them as tiny as they might be).

-it actually all started when i complimented a womans ring one night on the porch of kevin, missy's, danes and chloes house. she took it off, said " cheers", and told me that in germany she had done the exact same thing to a woman and the woman gave her the ring and said that it was the rule. that these material items are not only  fleeting but they are nonessential and if there is some one who gravitates towards it, why not give it.

Amazing stories Gabi! Every so often, people comment on a ring I wear on my thumb. I've been wearing it for 5 years, sounds like it's time to pass it on :)
